The Urban Design Alliance Queensland
The Urban Design Alliance Queensland is an independent organisation established to help professionals, decision makers and the community achieve high quality built form and public space outcomes.
Drawn from a collective of design professions and other related groups, we provide advice, support and advocacy across a range of projects types, policy platforms and issues related to the design and planning or our cities and regions.
UDAL is committed to fostering, educating and improving the awareness of the built environment and to promote higher standards of urban design
in our cities and towns.We aim to represent the design professions and other related groups who are committed to improving the quality of urban life in Queensland and to work with all interests concerned with the built environment such as governments, local and business communities, property developers, investors and with special interest groups who have particular concerns with
aspects of urban development.
Under these objects we offer the following key services to our members, patrons and wider industry:
regular forums and discussions on key issues affecting and influencing the design and planning or our cities and towns
independent expert advice on key projects, policy or industry issues
facilitation of tailored urban design workshops
informal networking and mentoring of built environment professionals
