Membership

Membership to UDAL provides industry professionals the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues affecting urban places and participate in collaborative approaches to managing these issues and creation of new urban spaces.


Through monthly forums, specific design workshops, and annual symposium, UDAL creates unique opportunities for discussion amongst industry colleagues and collaborative environments for members and community alike.  


Membership to UDAL is based on a financial year period, that is 1 July until 30 June.  


Membership Classes
UDAL Qld provides three classes open for annual membership.  

  • Individuals, for those engaged in full-time or part-time employment
  • Student/Retired, open to people enrolled in tertiary education or individuals who have retired.
  • Corporate, for companies, government and non-government organisations.  Allows for up to 5 employees to be attend any one UDAL event.



A fourth class of membership, Foundation Members, acknowledges the foundation member associations Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), Australian Institute of Urban Studies (AIUS), and Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
