Events hosted by the Urban Design Alliance Queensland Inc. (UDAL) are subject to following terms and conditions:

General Terms of Registration
- It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure that a registration form has been submitted to UDAL before the closing date.
- UDAL cannot guarantee that registrations made after the closing date will be catered for. Please contact UDAL on admin@udal.org.au if you register after the advertising closing date.
- UDAL reserves the right to make alterations to the event presenters, topic or other advertised items. In such instances, registrants will be notified as soon as possible and registrations will be treated as per the conditions outlined under the "UDAL Cancellation of Events".
Payment of Registrations
- Submitting the online registration form is the registrant's acceptance of all associated fees for attendance, as outlined on the web page and in marketing materials.
- UDAL will raise an invoice for registration attendance within 7 business days of receipt of the online submission.
- Payment terms are strictly 7 days upon receipt of the invoice. Payment outside these terms may incur additional fees and charges such as late fees and debt collection costs for debts which remain unpaid.
Employer Funded Registrations
.- If an employer requires a separate Invoice in order to raise payment for a fee based registration, this must be requested when the registration form is submitted by contacting admin@udal.org.au.
- Registrations completed on behalf of the employer will be considered as acceptance by employer of all fees due.
Cancellation/Refunds
- If an event is canceled by UDAL that is fee based, a full refund will be paid to each registrant.
- If a registrant cancels their registration for a fee based event, $15 of the registration fee will be payable to cover administration costs.
- No refund will be given if a registrant cancels after the registration close period, however an alternative representative may attend, where the event is fee based.
- No refund will be given to registrants who have not canceled, and do not attend the event, where the event is fee based.
- All alterations or cancellations must be made in writing to admin@udal.org.au.
- All registrants will be notified in writing or by phone/e-mail to confirm a place or to advise if their name has been placed on a waiting list for each event. If you have not received this confirmation 7 days prior to the event please contact the UDAL.
- All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to admin@udal.org.au. Details must include the full name of the replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.
- Where an individual transfers their registration to a Non–Member of the UDAL, the difference between fee already paid and the non member registration fee (if one exists) must be paid to UDAL by the new registrant.
- Registration for an event, whether it is free or fee based, does not include registrant insurance of any kind.
Cancelation of event by UDAL
- UDAL reserves the right to cancel an event if there are insufficient registrations or other unforeseen operational constraints.
- Where a fee based event is cancelled by UDAL, registrants will be fully refunded. In this case, the maximum liability of UDAL is limited to a refund of the event registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.
- Where a free event is cancelled by UDAL, there is no liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever incurred by registrants.
- In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of an event due to circumstances beyond UDAL’s reasonable control including but not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, acts of God and natural disaster, UDAL cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by registrants as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled.
